The workshop will cover various topics about keeping your online activities and personal information safe. This will include discussions around digital hygiene, malware and antivirus protection and browser security. In the practical segments the participants would be given the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills gained into real-world scenarios.

Moving forward, the discussion will go beyond digital security by addressing the impact of stereotyping on gender-based violence and gendered hate speech. The existing regulations and ways to combat gender-based violence in the digital world would also be examined during these sessions.

The discussion will be in Sinhala, Tamil and English.
