Dr. Crosby has been conducting research in Guatemala for over two decades, and has published widely on issues related to gender and transitional justice and anti-racist feminist participatory action research. She is currently completing a co-authored book manuscript with Dr. M. Brinton Lykes entitled Mapping Mayan Womens Protagonism: Accompanying transitional justice processes in post-genocide Guatemala, based on seven years of research with Mayan women survivors of sexual violence during the Guatemalan armed conflict.
