The International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES), the Centre for Asian Legal Studies (CALS) in the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Equitas (the International Centre for Human Rights Education) will present a workshop on Freedom of Religion in Divided Societies of Asia: Understanding the Law, Politics, and Rights.
The workshop will bring together scholars, practitioners, and parliamentarians from various jurisdictions to reflect, analyze, and understand the dynamics of freedom of religion in select Asian jurisdictions, particularly those with deep-seated ethnic and religious divisions.
The agenda will focus on a series of highly interactive panel discussions across the three main themes: Politics, Law, and Rights. More details in the attached flyer.A draft agenda will be released shortly.
