Dharmasiri Bandaranayakes latest documentary film Tears in Paradise (mrdoSihl l), takes a look at the political history of Sri Lanka, from the assassination of S.W.R.D Bandaranaike to the events of July 1983, emphasizing the dark history of violence unleashed by Sinhala Buddhist nationalism with the patronage of the Sri Lankan Government which was in power at that time (Sunday Observer).
