About the Event

Dr. Evan Liaras is a graduate of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He currently teaches political science and international relations at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. He is a Visiting Fellow at ICES where he completed his dissertation research on Sri Lankan electoral politics in 2009. He served as an elections observer at the 2010 Sri Lankan Presidential Election and held a Queen Elizabeth II Academy Fellowship at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, in London in 2015.
