Religion and Resistance: An Educational Resource

Nikhil Mandalaparthy

This resource is a collection of open-access articles, poems, videos, posters, and other resources related to religion, politics, and activism in Sri Lanka and other parts of South Asia and the diaspora. This resource provides ways to explore this question: “How has religion served as a site or mode of resistance to power, hegemony, and domination in modern Sri Lanka and South Asia?” This resource is based on the syllabus of an in-person course that was held at ICES Colombo in January-April 2025.
